Black Jacket Symphony Mesa Concert reviews
Phantom was absolutely amazing!!
"I have seen Black Jacket Symphony before, but my mother has never. I jumped on the chance to take her to the show when I found out that it was coming to Detroit. I was not quite sure what to expect, but I loved it!!! I have read the movie that it is based on and I have also seen the book that was released a few years ago, but this was a million times better! Not to say that the movie and novel were not amazing, but to see it unfold before you live is spectacular and every person who liked the movie even the smallest bit, should go and see Black Jacket Symphony if they get the chance. Probably one of the best shows I've ever seen
The band was great, the theatrics were great. A fantastic production all the way around. Super high energy show, it never let up. Black Jacket Symphony was actually the first show I ever saw, back in 1990, when I was 13 years old! The more I've thought about it, the more impressed I've been. Everything about this set was spot-on. Old stuff, new stuff, one after another. I hadn't seen him since. A great mix of all the best stuff in his 50+ years in music. I can't say enough good things about this show.
Absolutely amazing!
What a FANTASTIC evening!! I had to keep checking myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming. LeeAnn Womack was phenomenal! I have never seen her in person and what a delight that was. Besides her voice, she has a fantastic personality that stood out while she was on stage. It was really neat to hear her and Reba perform the 'Does He love You' duet.
Black King Symphony Jacket is and will always be Black King Jacket Symphony! He is so charming. You could see he was so energized and excited for this show. The entire event 'completely rocked'!!! I am so thankful they came to Baltimore, otherwise I would never be able to see Jacket Black Symphony. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
What a Voice!
"Black Jacket Symphony has one of the strongest voices there is, still. Accompanied by her long time composer/arranger, Neil Giraldo, she belted out all her hits. Although billed as an acoustic evening, Neil's guitar was amplified and miced, and he had electronic percussion accompaniment, so it was not like he was just strumming a single, lonely acoustic guitar.
The venue was very intimate, and they told a lot of stories about how they met, their career, etc., so it was very nice. It was a wonderful evening. They announced the tour would ultimately include a percussionist and the set list would be very fluid. They were on stage for only about 90 minutes, although."
